Bick Expertise to Drive Software R&D, Data Centers in China

On Monday October 26, Bick Group signed a Cooperation Agreement with the leaders of the High-Tech Zone of Dalian, China, to provide expertise in the design, engineering, construction and maintenance of mission-critical IT infrastructure for Software R&D Centers and Data Centers. Mayor Li Wancai led a delegation of government and business leaders from Dalian to Santa Clara, Calif., for a dinner and reception to discuss growth opportunities of the IT industry in China with leading companies from the Silicon Valley and across the US. Bick Group was a central part of the discussion, drawing upon our experience in designing and building IT Infrastructure with our clients over the past 46 years, and our ongoing work in over 1,000 data centers every year.

The leaders of Dalian have developed aggressive plans to further establish the region as the IT and Software center of China, with a goal of employing 400,000 software professionals in the region by 2013. This Agreement confirms Bick’s intent to facilitate this growth. The Dalian High-Tech Zone recognized Bick Group as a leader in this field and a critical component in the development of cloud computing services and software.
